The 2019 Winter Energy Payment is due to commence this Wednesday May 1st and continue until October 1st. For some households on Supported Incomes and National Superannuation this extra payment will make the difference between a warmer, drier home and better winter health or a chilly damp and unhealthy residence. However not all who receive this payment need it. If you are in the fortunate position to get through winter without extra help, you may consider making a difference in another way.
