The Friends of Thornton Park have set up a fund for the purpose of enhancing the life experiences of the residents of Thornton Park Residential Care Home in Opotiki. Initially the campaign will focus on the purchase of a multi-purpose wheelchair accessible vehicle to enable the residents to attend appointments, and enjoy connection with local community events and experiences.
