A thoughtful legacy has been created to benefit the residents of Kawerau's Mountain View Care facility supported by the estate of  Adrienne Lukes, who was cared for in her twilight years at Mountain View, and thanks to her daughters benevolence, this fund will assist residents to 'live their best lives' and to be supported with therapy animals, additional occupational therapy and the provision of counselling for family members and residents, when facing challenging health information and approaching the end of life. 

This fund is open to accept further donations to enhance the quality of life for residents of Mountain View, in Kawerau.
