The Stewart Family Endowment Fund has been set up to recognise the deep connection to the Eastern Bay of Plenty of the donor and previous generations of the Stewart family in Whakatane, who have played a significant role in providing professional services to the township and its environs.
The Fund focus will be on
- Supporting, understanding and providing tools for those with Dyslexia as a learning condition (10% of our population)
- Surf-life Saving
- Conservation Projects
- Improving positive opportunities for Youth
