Look Good Feel Better is a registered charity, founded and developed by The Cosmetic, Toiletry and Fragrance Association of New Zealand. The mission of this charity is to improve the quality of life of cancer patients by making them look good and feel better.

Cancer treatments affect people differently. Its hard to bother with how you look when you are not feeling well. Sometimes when undergoing these lengthy sessions of chemotherapy, radiation or extended hormone therapy its easy to feel as if everyone else ( doctors, therapists, technicians, etc) is in charge of what is happening to your body.

With the help of a 'Look Good-Feel Better' class, clients take back control of their appearance. When you put yourself back in control of looking good, something wonderful happens. You feel better too. A physcological shift happens and overall well-being imporves dramatically.

Having the courage to face the world again often starts with the confidence gained in a Look Good Feel Better class.

Robyn Towersey QSM has long volunteered for this charity, since classes were established in the Eastern Bay of Plenty over fifteen years ago. Robyn has also benefited from participating in this forum. She generously chose to provide ongoing financial support to LOOK GOOD FEEL BETTER by setting up an endowment fund, which will give this charity the means to continue their excellent work in New Zealand.
