Our People

Our board is made up of nine to twelve trustees who provide guidance and governance to the Eastern Bay Community Foundation with a robust  succession model ensuring a fair geographical and cultural representation of the three Local Government Districts that the Foundation covers in our Eastern Bay region.

Certain tasks are allocated to support committees such as the Finance, Audit, Risk & Investments Committee, the Distributions and Grants Committee, the Policy and Governance Committee and the Marketing and Profile Committee. These committees include both trustees and locally co-opted volunteers with expertise in particular fields. This ensures a wide variety of input into decision making at all levels. 

The Eastern Bay Community Foundation operates on a transparent basis, with full information available to donors and the local community.

Trustees are always available to answer questions and provide insight into how the community foundation model works and for solution based support and advice.

The Trustees volunteer their time, they are respected and trusted individuals from within the local community who are appointed with a variety of skills to represent the region as follows:
