Marnie Anstis Fund

Marnie believes to give is to receive..." I dont need recognition, the happiness giving brings, is enough for me. To know that I can make the community we live in a better place, to alleviate a need, to assist a child or adult to read, to restore and enhance our natural environment...thats where I can make a difference."  Marnie has always played a supporting role within the Opotiki community, be it on the farm, in the orchard, or in working to restore the local Hukutaia Domain. Marnie is mother to four sons, and an accomplished author, with her published story of Taketakerau, The Millenium Tree winning many accolades and awards. Marnie's husband Peter is a founding Trustee of the Eastern Bay Community Foundation. Marnies fund will be directed towards the greatest identified needs within the Eastern Bay.
