Luke accepted the role of honarary legal counsel to the Eastern Bay Community Foundation early in 2018.

Luke worked in London in the Department of Trade and Industry before returning to New Zealand and joining the team at Holland Beckett in 2004. He was appointed a partner in 2014. Luke specialises in company, commercial, property and employment law. He has extensive experience in guiding and advising clients on trust and estate issues. Luke has had previous Community Foundation experience, providing advice to the Acorn Foundation in the Western Bay of Plenty.

Luke grew up and has family living in the Whakatane District and has many connections with the region. He is available to clients by appointment in the Whakatane office.

Luke is currently a member of the Board of Trustees of Pillans Point Primary School and is a Board member on the Tauranga Chamber of Commerce. He also holds an honarary solicitor role for the Bay of Plenty Deerstalkers Association.

Luke is committed to assisting the Eastern Bay Community Foundation achieve successful outcomes in the region.
